After a hot, sunny and busy day, it’s great to relax in a lazy chair at the terrace. The only noice comes from nature. A late bird, insects and if you listen better you can even hear the bubbles in the glass with a cold Prosecco at the table.

Last week i made a big job, cutting the firethorns. Last week and this weekend planned to finish cutting all the buxus hedges. To clean from all this cutting i use an old wheel barrow, to bring all the waste to the compost-place. And just today on a hot day a few branches of te firethorns hide in [...]

In the back of my garden i have 35 mtrs of firethorns, very decorative, but also a lott of work to keep them in shape. I cut them in blocks. So two times a year ( in mai/june and oktober) i have to cut them.

In luna Martie am primit doua ghivece cu trandafiri. Din experienta anilor trecuti in care am replantat astfel de flori in curtea parintilor mei pentru ca in lunile de vara sa ma bucur apoi de tufe colorate si parfumate, nu am tinut cont nici de aceasta data de sfaturi care spuneau ca trandafirii de ghiveci nu [...]

Pffffffffffff. it’s almost dark, so i stopped. Did a lott tonight. Cleaned the aliënplace, cleaned the borders and mowed the grass, but not all cz. have a problem again with the mower engine. Anyway it looks already much nicer now.

Today when i made a walk in the garden, i saw the tulips falling down, the blossoms on the ground, all the trees filled with fresh new green. The grass coloured green again and young birds all around.

A trecut vremea liliacului, insa parfumul sau imi staruie in simturi. De fiecare data cand aud cuvantul liliac, mintea functioneaza asemeni poftei catelului lui Pavlov si imi aduce pe ecranul amintirilor poteca pe care mergeam cu bunicul sa rupem crengute si sa ducem la biserica, inainte de Pasti, cand treceam pe sub masa.

Buna ziua, Today i repaired the illumination in the garden, one of the lights was complete demaged. The lampholder was gone and the cable was burned off. So took it out of the ground and mount a new lampholder and cable. Put in all the lamps new super-led lamps. (5 Watt).
